A doctor’s career is a life-long journey of constantly expanding one’s knowledge. There is an ocean of information for us doctors, and there are some amazing platforms out there, but it is incredibly time-consuming to keep track of everything with our busy schedule. With CredoWeb I can take part in discussions that are highly specialized to my field. There are videos and other valuable content that I can watch when I am free or, when I have a question, I can always ask a key opinion leader or some of my colleagues on the platform.

To be honest, I have always been sceptical about maintaining professional communication in an online environment. But this all changed when I moderated a virtual event in CredoWeb. I just uploaded a video with my presentation and the questions started pouring. And everyone needed practical information to help them in their day-to-day job. I did not have to stay for hours lecturing my colleagues. Whenever someone posted a question, I was notified and replied at my convenience. This is much more practical and useful than conferences or webinars.

I just finished medical school and I am a neurology resident. All my colleagues and I – we are the new generation of doctors and we grew up with technology. I believe technologies will be an integral part of our careers. I do not want to spend hours during conferences or waste my time meeting pharmaceutical reps when I could be helping my patients. I want to have a place where quickly and easily I can access valuable information and network with my peers. And I want to do this on my own time and on my own terms. I have found such a place here.
